What's a fair price for Touch markers in Jordan?
On 26 October 2026 we collected the published prices of twin-tip alcohol marker sets (Touch-style) on Jordanian shops' websites and in one private listing. These are the prices we found that day, without names — prices change, so treat them as a reference, not an official list.
| Size | Published prices we found | At Rasmetak today |
|---|---|---|
| 24 colours | JD 5.75–7 | JD 4 |
| 36–48 colours | JD 8.75–16 | We don't stock this size |
| 60 colours | JD 15 | JD 8 |
| 80 colours | JD 18–25 | We don't stock this size |
| 120 colours | JD 26–30 | JD 15 |
Public prices for sets of the same size on the check date; some were out of stock at the time. Professional brands aren't included in this table.
So on the 26 October 2026 check, our prices were below the market for all three Touch boxes — the 120, for example, is JD 15 against JD 26–30. Not everything we sell is the cheapest, though: our free delivery starts at JD 30 and some shops start lower, so compare the total including delivery.
Why do some markers cost so much more?
Three things set the price of a marker set:
- Number of pens: always compare the price per pen, not the price of the box.
- Tip type: most budget sets have a broad chisel and a fine bullet; pricier sets add brush tips.
- Brand tier: “Touch” has become the everyday name for this kind of alcohol marker, and many factories make budget sets under it. In professional lines a single pen can cost close to a whole box: ShinHan's Korean Touch Twin is roughly US$4–8 a pen, and Promarker sets in Jordan work out at more than JD 2 a pen (checked 26 October 2026).
For colouring, hobbies and coursework, a budget set is enough. Professional lines are usually sold as single pens too, which matters to artists who work daily and need to replace the exact colour they used up. More in our original-or-copy guide.
Amazon, Shein or Temu: what does it really cost?
The price on a global marketplace isn't always what you end up paying:
- Parcel tax: since 1 February 2026, parcels from abroad worth up to JD 200 pay 16% sales tax with a JD 5 minimum. A JD 10 set can easily cost JD 15 or more before shipping.
- Time: shipping from abroad usually takes weeks, not a day or two.
- No checking before you pay: you pay upfront, and sending back a dry or missing pen is hard.
Buying from a Jordanian store means you know the total upfront, check the order before paying and have a local guarantee.
How to tell if an offer is really good
Before you order anywhere, check:
- The real pen count: “120 colours” should mean 120 pens — ask whether a colourless blender is counted among them.
- Two tips on every pen: broad and fine.
- Colour codes on the caps: they make it easy to find a colour and replace it.
- A case or stand: keeps the pens in order.
- The total including delivery: not just the price of the box.
- Guarantee and inspection: what happens if a pen arrives dry?
With us, you can inspect the order before paying the courier, and the 30-day guarantee covers dry, missing or broken pens. Details in our exchanges and returns policy.
Frequently asked questions
Does the price include delivery?
No. Delivery is JD 2.5 in Amman and JD 3 elsewhere, and free on orders of JD 30 or more. Checkout shows the full total before you confirm.
Why are your prices lower than some shops?
We're online-only (there's no shop to visit) and focus on a small range of markers and colouring books. Our current prices are sale prices, and the price before discount is shown on every product.
Are there coupons or discount codes?
The prices shown are the current sale prices, with the price before discount next to them. All discounted products are together on our Offers page.
What if I find it cheaper?
You might, especially for sizes or brands we don't stock. Compare the pen count, the tips, delivery, the guarantee and whether you can check before paying — not the price alone. We don't price-match, but we'd like to hear about it: message us on Instagram or Messenger.
How long does delivery take?
Once we confirm your order, it usually arrives within 1 working day in Amman and 1–2 working days elsewhere.
Can I pay cash on delivery?
Yes — cash on delivery is the default, and you can open and check the order before paying the courier. CliQ transfer works too.
